About the Microsoft Surface Go 1
Part of the Surface tablet range, the Microsoft Surface Go 1 is a Surface tablet with a glued-in screen. It was released in 2018.
Its memory is soldered to the board, so it can’t be upgraded after purchase, but the SSD can be replaced. As a tablet-style design, it has no laptop hinge to wear out. Parts are still widely available, either new or as tested replacements.
