Part of the Surface tablet range, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is a Surface tablet with a glued-in screen. It was released in 2021.
Its memory is soldered to the board, so it can’t be upgraded after purchase, but the SSD can be replaced. As a tablet-style design, it has no laptop hinge to wear out. New parts are readily available, so most repairs use new components.
