Motherboard repair on the HP EliteBook

The HP EliteBook has either integrated graphics or a separate graphics chip, depending on the configuration. Common board faults on laptops of this type are failed power controllers, shorted capacitors and damaged charging circuits, which we repair at component level.

What we do

We measure the board's power circuits to find exactly where the fault is, then replace the failed parts under a microscope using hot-air and BGA rework stations.

If a board is too badly damaged to repair economically, we tell you before doing any work and quote for a replacement board instead.
