When a laptop won't switch on, cuts out, or shows nothing on screen, the cause is usually one failed part on the motherboard: a capacitor, a power controller, a charging chip. We find that part and replace it, which costs a fraction of a new board.

What we do

We measure the board's power circuits to find exactly where the fault is, then replace the failed parts under a microscope using hot-air and BGA rework stations.

If a board is too badly damaged to repair economically, we tell you before doing any work and quote for a replacement board instead.

How long it takes. Many board faults are fixed the same day. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you how long when we quote.
