Power jack repair on the Alienware x16

The Alienware x16 uses a high-wattage barrel or rectangular charger socket. We test your charger first, then repair the socket, its cable or the charging circuit on the motherboard, whichever has failed.

We open the laptop, remove the damaged socket and fit a new one, repairing any lifted pads on the board. Where the socket is on a separate cable or small board, we replace that part instead.
