The Microsoft Surface Go 4 uses a Surface Connect charging port, with USB-C charging on later models. We test your charger first, then repair the socket, its cable or the charging circuit on the motherboard, whichever has failed.

Surface Connect and USB-C charging faults are repaired on the board.

We open the laptop, remove the damaged socket and fit a new one, repairing any lifted pads on the board. Where the socket is on a separate cable or small board, we replace that part instead.

We test with your own charger before handing the laptop back.
