Fan and overheating repair

Dust packs into the heatsink, the fan wears out and the thermal paste dries up. The laptop gets hot, loud and slow, and eventually switches itself off to protect the chips.

What we do

We strip the cooling system, clean the heatsink and fan, and replace the thermal paste on the processor and graphics chip. A worn or noisy fan is replaced.

Doing this early prevents the heat damage that leads to graphics chip and motherboard failures.

How long it takes. Usually done the same day.
